That is if I haven't restarted my PC after activating the demo plugin. You will not be able to run any timed demos until you set the correct system time. Now if you start the demo period for a demo plugin in the UAD-1 Meter and then set your system time back for instance a year. It is workable but not ideal and if someone knows a better method please let us know! As you may already know the rom on the UAD-1 remembers your system time and it will remember the time you first started a demo period for a demo plugin. Before you try this I would like to point out that with this method you have to set your system time back which in my case means some of your files will no longer have the right date of creation, I chose to set my time exactly one year back so the only thing not correct is the year of creation. Or you will lose your demo period forever!!!!!! What I advise you to do, is first try this with only one demo plugin to make sure it works for you. Ofcourse it is all at your own risk bla bla bla. I will describe this as precise as I can cause there is a risk you lose your demo period for the demo plugins if you don't do it correct. Before anyone tries this I only tested this on a PC with a UAD-1 Mackie version with Logic 5.
